ABOUT ME
  • I am licensed clinical social worker providing individual therapy to those 18 and older.

  • I am an ally and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • I use he/him/his pronouns

  • I was born and raised in  Central Washington.

  • I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington as a first-generation college student. 

  • During graduate school I completed a practicum at the Pierce County AIDS Foundation as medical case manager.  

  • My clinical background consists of providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults with diverse needs.  

  • I find it rewarding to help individuals heal and recover from stressful events by helping them process difficulties and gain new insights.

EXPERIENCE

I have been dedicated to diverse and inclusive experiences, as I have worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor serving individuals with physical, mental and sensory-processing disorders, to providing case management and therapeutic services within community mental health agencies. .

Types of therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT): can help address unhelpful thoughts and behavioral patterns.  

  • Brainspotting: A focused mindfulness practice that uses fixed eye positions to help clients reprocess emotional pain and distress.   

  • Motivational Interviewing: To assist clients with taking steps towards making and sustaining change. 

  • Attachment Theory: I use an attachment theory approach in practice. Those I work with will learn more about their attachment style and use the therapeutic relationship to improve emotional regulation skills to navigate their relationships with others
